Integrated Management System Policy
CoffeeCenter, whose main activity is the purchase of raw materials and auxiliary products, and the design, production, and marketing of coffee, tea, infusions, chocolates, and derived products within the Horeca, trade, and distribution sectors, defines Quality and Environmental protection in all its areas as permanent and priority objectives, as well as ensuring food safety by also setting Food Security as an objective.
The CoffeeCenter Management System consolidates this policy to ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction, respect for the natural environment, and food safety. The Company undertakes the commitment to effectively apply a Quality System according to the ISO 9001 standard, the implementation of an Environmental Management System according to the ISO 14001 Standard, and the implementation of a Food Safety Management System according to the ISO 22000 Standard, thus forming an Integrated Management System based on the aforementioned references.
Management based on Quality, Food Safety, and respect for the Environment can only be achieved with a team of people willing to do the job well and be an active part of the Company, directing their activities positively toward the environmental behavior associated with its processes, facilities, and services, with a special focus on the protection of the environment, its customers, and the general public.
It is the teams and the people who comprise it who, by working with Quality, respecting the environment, and committing to Food Safety, manage to guarantee the competitiveness, success, and continuity of the company. It is key for the company to maintain all workers in good health and guarantee safety measures to protect them.
Coffee Center maintains the commitment to develop its INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY through its entire organization, based on:
- Achieving maximum customer satisfaction
- Serving customers by defining Quality levels according to their requirements. Implementing and ensuring compliance with the food safety requirements agreed upon with customers.
- Adequately managing and minimizing, as far as possible, the impact of environmental aspects derived from all activity carried out by CoffeeCenter, both directly and indirectly through subcontracted services. Making a constant and continuous effort to identify, characterize, and improve the environmental impact derived from its activities, facilities, and operations, such as vehicle gas emissions, waste originating from the maintenance of these vehicles, office and warehouse waste, or noise.
- Rationally using resources and reducing the production of waste, emissions, discharges, and environmental impacts
- Contributing to ethical and solidarity projects and assuming a commitment to social responsibility
- Preventing pollution as much as possible, as a basic principle of the company
- Complying with all applicable requirements, mainly quality, food safety, and environmental requirements, taking legal requirements especially into account. Thus, maintaining permanent control over legislative compliance.
- Implementing and developing Continuous Improvement through a systematic and periodic evaluation of the Integrated Management System, for which the performance of audits will be considered basic
- Establishing Objectives and monitoring their evolution
- The permanent training of all its staff and promotion of a higher degree of awareness and consciousness to achieve customer satisfaction and environmental protection
- Promoting the implementation of quality, food safety, and environmental policies consistent with these principles to contractors and suppliers.
- Producing and marketing safe products that do not cause health damage, either directly or indirectly, thus guaranteeing the food safety of all our products.
- Avoiding external product damage by controlling Food Fraud and Food Defense.
- Establishing the necessary internal and external communication channels to ensure product safety.
